Posted October 24, 2018 07:18:11The ad on the house, which is at a price tag of $1,600, is on display at the beverley center.
The center said it removed it on Monday, but it will be up for a week before it can be removed again.
The house has a $1.7 million price tag, but is in the midst of being torn down.
It has been a challenge for the center to find a home for the ad since the city of Vancouver began asking people to pay up to $250 to remove the ad.
“The advertising is an important part of the Beverly Center’s brand identity,” the center said in a statement on Tuesday.
The city has until Monday to remove or move the ad from the house.
The centre says it removed the ad as part of a pilot project that began earlier this year.
“While the centre is not aware of any issues with the advertisement, we are continuing to work with city officials to investigate the matter further,” the statement said.
The Beverley Center is a downtown Vancouver condo that is part of an upscale apartment complex, and the center has been selling rental apartments at an even higher price point.
The apartment complex is being built on a parcel of land where the city has set aside a block for affordable housing.
The housing is slated to be complete by the end of 2018, but the Beberys say the housing is too expensive to sell in Vancouver.
In a statement, the city said it has removed the advertisement because the building is in violation of the city’s bylaws.
“In accordance with the bylaws, the centre will be allowed to continue to operate and advertise in accordance with that bylaw,” it said.
“Any violations of bylaws will result in the centre being removed from the city.”
The centre said it is now looking into removing the ad once again, but will do so in the same manner as it did with the other ad.
Vancouver is considering banning the advertising from its buildings.
The council has until October 30 to make that decision.
The building is a former church that was converted to condos and apartments.
It is part-owned by the city, which bought it in 2003.
In the meantime, the Bemerleys have been selling rentals at an average of $4,700 per month.
