She said she had no idea what to do about the advertisement.
“They were showing me pictures of what they had been feeding me and the stuff they had given me.
I’d never had a problem with anything before,” she said.”
I just thought, I need to be safe.
I thought it was an advertisement for an organisation.”
She said her daughter was just three months old when she had the first sign of the infection.
“When I got home from work and the first signs started coming up, I just thought I was being sick.”
Then the first thing I thought was I need some help and they were saying I needed to go and see a doctor.””
I went down to the pharmacy and I had a prescription from my GP and a doctor’s note, but I was worried about how long it would take them to do an appointment, and that’s when I saw the ad.
“Ms Williams said she was worried she might have an infection herself, but that she was too embarrassed to tell her husband about it.”
The doctor said, I don’t know, you don’t have to tell anybody.
I’m not going to tell my husband, I have no choice.
I didn’t want to upset him.
“She also had no clue what to expect.”
If you’ve got a lot of babies, that can be a bit of a scary thing, but you’re not going get sick,” she laughed.”
But then I thought, you’re going to have to wait until it’s too late, and it’s a bit scary too.
“Ms Johnson said the advertisements had affected her and her daughter, who had been fed and fed, but not eaten.”
It’s very stressful, I’ve just been so upset, I can’t take it any more.
“She’s now about six months old and her stomach’s just so big that she’s not eating.”
There’s no way I’m going to be able to handle that and I don- I just don’t want her to have any other issues,” she added.”
All I can think about is her.
